Gueshe Lhakdor

The coming of Geshe Lhakdor, official translator and secretary of His Holiness the Dalaï Lama at that time, has been a great honour for the Thegchok Ling centre. Geshe-la gave teachings during two evenings, introducing to the following texts : The Way of the Bodhisattava by Shantideva and Stages of Meditation by Kamalashila. Those texts were the base for His Holiness’ teachings during the summer 2005 in Zurich-Switzerland. 
Geshe Lhakdor has been giving the audience an very clear and warm explanation on the importance of compassion in Tibetan Buddhism. Geshe’s kindness and warmness made his presence really impressive.
