guided by Chokgyur Lingpa Jigme Palden Rinpoche, Namkha Rinpoche and Tsatrul Rinpoche

Chokgyur Lingpa Jigme Palden Rinpoche accepted the invitation of Namkha Rinpoche and Rigdzin Community to come for the winter retreat 2008 and give the empowerments of the Lama, Ydam and Khandro of the Longchen Nyingthig. Jigme Palden Rinpoche is the reincarnation of Chokgyur Lingpa (1829-1870) who was a treasure revealer regarded as one of the major tertons in Tibetan history, his termas are widely practiced by both the Kagyu and Nyingma schools. Jigme Palden Rinpoche was also a very close disciple of His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.
The Winter Retreat 2008 gathered about hundred people from Switzerland, Sweden, France, Netherland and Spain. The sangha performed Rigdzin Düpa Tsog every morning and received empowerment on the afternoon. On the evening Namkha Rinpoche, Tsatrul Rinpoche and Lama Pema Wangyel gave teachings. Every teaching was translated simultanously in french, english and spanish. On thursday, Namkha Rinpoche gave an empowerment. On friday, a vast Tsog offering was performed.
